Walter Evans Church of England Primary & Nursery School

Special Educational Needs

As a school we are mindful of and comply with expectations of the SEN Code of Practice and Disability Discrimination Act as shown in our SEN and Inclusion Policies.

We use a variety of interventions and approaches to address specific areas of need and would look carefully at your child's individual needs when deciding how best to support your child.

Our Special Educational Needs Information Report gives more information on how we support children with Special Education Needs.

Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is Mr A Webster.  To be in touch, please email admin@walterevans.derby.sch.uk

If you are looking for advice about special educational needs, you can use the Derby City Local Offer to help you access further information.  You can also contact the Derby Information, Advice and Support Service.
