September 2022 - Revised School day start & end times

From September 2022 the timings of the school day will be as follows:

• School will open to all children at 8:45am. Children in Year 1 and 2 will enter via the field gate adjacent to Nursery. Pupils in Years 3 - 6 will enter via the driveway and the gate next to the bike sheds. At the end of the day, all children will exit by these same gates.
• Nursery and Reception children should be collected from their classrooms at 3:30pm. Their gates will be open from 3:25pm.
• Year 1 and 2 pupils will finish at 3:25pm.
• Years 3-6 will finish at 3:30pm.

These timings ensure that the Department for Education's guidance that schools should be open for a minimum of 32.5 hours per week are adhered to.

We do not envisage these timings changing, but we will review how well they are working in October.
