Coronation Fun!
After a week of learning and preparation to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, we hope that everyone feels both prepared and excited for this special coronation weekend.
Thank you to all the children as we marked this historic occasion with a small sample of the children's learning at St Matthew's church and to all our families who were able to pop down to church to be part of their child's learning. Also a HUGE thanks goes out to the children who royally dressed up in Red, White and Blue on 5th May and behaved brilliantly as they patiently waited for the aerial photo to be taken. See below.
A special thank you also goes to out dinner time team (midday supervisors and catering team) who put on a super spread for our picnic lunch. Sadly, the weather meant that our lunch had to remain in the school hall.
We are also very grateful for our choir, who will be accompanied by Anne De Waal (piano) as they sing at St Matthew's church on 5th May 2023 (7-8pm) as part of a celebratory evening of song, alongside St Matthew's choir and Old Vicarage School choir.
Below is today's special commemorative CRIII photo.
